Bug ID 2185097: Incorrect or stale vCMP guest statistics are displayed on the host GUI when running a multi-blade guest.

Last Modified: Jun 19, 2026

Affected Product(s):
BIG-IP vCMP(all modules)

Known Affected Versions:
17.5.1.3, 17.5.1.4, 17.5.1.5, 17.5.1.6

Opened: Dec 11, 2025

Severity: 5-Cosmetic

Symptoms

In the Host GUI running a multiblade guest, the 'vCMP / Guest Status' page displays incorrect or fluctuating values, such as active volume or HA failure, even when no actual changes have occurred. On the CLI, commands like tmctl -d blade vcmp_software_status_stat or tmctl -d blade vcmp_ha_table_row_stat also show incorrect values. At times, these pages or commands may timeout. The reported values are stale or incorrect on the host for all secondary slots.

Impact

The Guest Status GUI page and tmctl table commands, such as tmstat tables vcmp_software_status_stat and vcmp_ha_table_row_stat, display incorrect details for the secondary blades of the guest.

Conditions

Multiple-blade vCMP guest deployment: all secondary blades are using a dummy token or NO AUTH.
