Symptoms

REST API call to /mgmt/shared/device-certificate fails. Client receives: HTTP/1.1 502 Proxy Error Reason: Error reading from remote server

Impact

The /mgmt/shared/device-certificate REST API endpoint becomes unusable. Clients receive HTTP 502 Proxy Error instead of a valid JSON response. Device certificate cannot be retrieved.

Conditions

The shared/device-key-pair object is missing, corrupted, or returns an unexpected response from shared storage.
