Symptoms

After restoring a UCS file, the default-value of the sys db variable: alertd.lcdwarn changes from enable to disable. Following a system reboot, the default-value reverts to enable.

Impact

The effective runtime value (value) remains set to enable No functional or operational impact is observed Alerting behavior is not affected

Conditions

UCS is saved and restored on the same system alertd.lcdwarn was not explicitly modified by the administrator Issue observed immediately after UCS restore, without reboot

Workaround

Reboot the system after UCS restore
