Symptoms

BIG-IP has http profile settings max-header-size. This value defines the upper limit for the size of the HTTP header block in either request or response

Impact

TMM may crash, causing a failover and interruption in traffic processing

Conditions

The virtual server is equipped with HTTP2 or HTTP3 profiles, and it uses an HTTP profile with a large max-header-size setting

Workaround

Reduce the value of the max-header-size setting to a reasonable one. Consult F5 Support for more details
