Symptoms

Controller fails to update "k8s.v1.cni.cncf.io/network-status" annotation on TMM pods with its assigned selfIP from the internal VLAN.

Impact

The "k8s.v1.cni.cncf.io/network-status" annotations on TMM pods show stale or missing selfIPs which result into egress traffic failure.

Conditions

1. If the internal VLAN is updated with change in selfIPs. 2. If controller deployment is updated with change in `MAX_ACTIVE_TMM_REPLICAS` environment variable.

Workaround

Delete the internal VLAN and recreate it.
