Symptoms

HTTP/2 client requests time out occurs when TMM does not forward HTTP/2 egress traffic to the backend server, even though the HTTP/2 virtual servers are configured and operational.

Impact

HTTP/2 egress connections fail, preventing client applications from communicating with backend HTTP/2 servers.

Conditions

This issue occurs on OpenShift 4.18.39 deployments using NVIDIA ConnectX-7 (CX7) adapters with HTTP/2 egress traffic. The issue is not observed on equivalent ConnectX-6 (CX6) deployments.
