Symptoms

parent.document.write(some_html_with_script) hangs up parent frame for Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers.

Impact

Some web applications were affected by this bug.

Conditions

This issue occurs when all of the following conditions are met: -- The BIG-IP APM system is configured for portal access. -- Content provided by the destination resource through portal access contains HTML frames or iframes. -- An HTML frame or iframe uses a parent.document.write (<html with script>) statement.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

When you use APM portal access that has an iframe or frame that runs an HTML file which includes a parent.document.write(some_html_with_script) statement, Internet browser response is now acceptable.
