Symptoms

After an upgrade from a previous version of TMOS v11.x, under some conditions, newly created subfolders may fail to sync.

Impact

Configuration synchronization may fail with a message like the following: 01070734:3: Configuration error: Invalid folder (/folder/name) the parent folder does not exist

Conditions

This occurs when creating sub-folders in a partition and then attempting to sync.

Workaround

Delete and recreate the folders, then re-initiate a sync.

Fix Information

An issue is now fixed where newly created subfolders may fail to sync after an upgrade from earlier versions of TMOS v11.x.
