When there is no management route (default router) for the management interface, and users change the management IP address through the front panel LCD, the management IP address will revert back to the previous one after reboot.
The management IP address after reboot will not be what the user expects.
- There is no default router for the management interface. - The user modifies the management IP address with the front panel LCD. - System reboot
Use tmsh CLI command 'tmsh delete sys management-ip ...' followed by 'tmsh create sys management-ip ...' to configure the management-ip address and then save the configuration with 'tmsh save sys config'.
The management IP address now persists across reboots when configured via front panel LCD.
