When using LDAP or Active Directory for system authentication, you might see many benign messages in /var/log/messages, for example: notice 0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef The timestamps coincide with system authentication (log in, log out).
This is purely cosmetic. The messages are the tail end of debug logs which are normally discarded by syslog-ng.
Configure BIG-IP system for system authentication using LDAP or Active Directory.
