Symptoms

the system may reboot into vCMP mode if the configuration being verified has a different vCMP provisioning level than the current running configuration after using the command 'tmsh load sys config verify'

Impact

An unexpected reboot of the entire appliance/chassis will occur.

Conditions

The vcmp provisioning level in the running config must not match the vcmp level in the on-disk config. If the levels do match, no reboot will occur.

Workaround

Create the file /shared/noupgrade before running the verify command. Remove this file afterwards.

Fix Information

An issue has been resolved with the command 'tmsh load sys config verify' where the system may reboot into vCMP mode if the configuration being verified has a different vCMP provisioning level than the current running configuration.
