Symptoms

/var/log/ltm will contain entries similar to: slot4/v2-1 err vcmpd[8048]: 01510004:3: Guest (alloc_1): is assigned too many devices. Device 06:00.06 will not be assigned. Guest performance may be impacted.

Impact

Affected vcmp guests will have lower hardware SSL and compression capacity than expected.

Conditions

This issue only affects 6-cpu guests on BIG-IP 12000 equipped with an extra SSL card and 6-cpu or larger guests on B2250 blade blades.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

All requested hardware devices are now assigned to the vCMP guest.
