The max number of bandwidth control (BWC) categories for a dynamic Policy Enforcement (PEM) policy is limited to 8 per subscriber. The preconfigured PEM policies are not affected.
The limitation impacts the use cases where more granular per application bandwidth control is required; and the PEM policies are defined dynamically over Gx.
PEM enabled with Gx for dynamic policy provisioning.
There is no workaround.
The max number of BWC categories per PEM subscriber has been increased to 32. This applies to the dynamic policies only, i.e. the policies defined within Gx provisioning messages.
