Symptoms

Network Access can modify Internet Proxy settings PAC to enforce proxy and split tunneling configuration. Network Access being abruptly terminated can result in the proxy configuration not being removed.

Impact

Users may lose access to Web-resources via browser.

Conditions

Hard shutdown event during Network Access connection with configured Client Proxy Settings.

Workaround

Manually clean up Internet Proxy settings.

Fix Information

Network access restores proxy settings when a user signs out from a Windows-based session and schedules proxy cleanup operations to start on the next Windows user sign in.
