Mcpd fails to load the config.

Impact

The BIG-IP system is mostly unusable after the load fails.

Conditions

When restoring a UCS or installing from a version with HTTP Class profiles the upgrade may convert the profiles to policies that fail to load. The policies fail to load when the profiles have a url that does not start with a http:// or /.

Workaround

1) For all policies with urls, edit them so they are correct. 2) If upgrading from 10.x, run /usr/libexe/bigpipe daol 3) If upgrading from 10.x, run tmsh save sys config 4) Run tmsh load sys config

Fix Information

HTTP Class profiles from previous versions may have url formats that are now invalid. If these profiles have urls that do not start with a http:// or / https://. Loading a configuration with such profiles now provides a descriptive error message and omits the profile.

Behavior Change

Installs and UCS restores will now fail if a HTTP Class profile has an invalid URL.
