AFM prevents BIG-IP from responding to traceroute utilities.
Client running traceroute or tracert does not see the BIG-IP self IP in the result output. This is a cosmetic issue; the system functions correctly.
This occurs when using AFM. Unit stops replying with ICMP time exceeded when TTL is 1, which is required for the traceroute or tracert (Microsoft Windows) utilities to work.
