Symptoms

TLS connections through a virtual server with an SSL persistence profile attached may intermittently. A network trace will show the BIG-IP sending malformed TLS records to the server, typically resulting in the connection being closed/reset (a closer analysis reveals that the malformed records sent to the server were parts of the data received from the server).

Impact

Connections impacted by this occurrence will fail.

Conditions

A virtual server with SSL persistence profile attached may be affected. Traffic flowing concurrently between client and BIG-IP.
