Symptoms

The message from configuration daemon are sent to all system components. These messages describe configuration changes. Sometimes they may contain empty variable values. Several system components process such values incorrectly and may crash.

Impact

Some actions with system configuration (like restoring from saved copies or import of external definitions) may not be finished.

Conditions

Saved system configuration (or part of) with undefined or skipped values for some variables.

Workaround

No workaround is known.

Fix Information

Fixed possible crash issue due to the memory leak in MCP interfaces in several system components: acctd, aced, apd, eam, eca, rba, rewrite, scim, websso.
