Symptoms

TMM accumulates large numbers of incoming ARP packets that are not released, but instead are leaked, which eventually causes tmm slowdown/core.

Impact

TMM memory usage increases and the system issues a SIGABRT, eventually resulting in traffic outage.

Conditions

This can occur when using a vlangroup with two devices on the same vlan.

Workaround

Do not use vlangroups.

Fix Information

The system now correctly handles packets output on members of vlangroups where the packets are cached replies for the same vlan on which the request arrived.
