Symptoms

Enabling ISO 8601 timestamps in syslog breaks alertd message parsing, inhibiting system alerts. This includes LCD panel messages, alarm LEDs, SNMP traps and alert emails.

Impact

No system alerts are generated.

Conditions

modify sys syslog iso-date enable

Workaround

modify sys syslog iso-date disable

Fix Information

Alertd now supports the ISO 8601 date format.
