Symptoms

The access policy daemon (apd) process can grow in memory usage indefinitely.

Impact

When the issue occurs, the apd process might use all available memory, and the system stops working properly.

Conditions

This occurs when an access policy contains Active Directory (AD) or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Query agents.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The access policy daemon (apd) process no longer leaks memory with AD and LDAP Query agents.
