Last Modified: Jul 12, 2023

Opened: Nov 18, 2013

The access policy daemon (apd) process can grow in memory usage indefinitely.

When the issue occurs, the apd process might use all available memory, and the system stops working properly.

This occurs when an access policy contains Active Directory (AD) or Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) Query agents.

Fix Information

The access policy daemon (apd) process no longer leaks memory with AD and LDAP Query agents.
