Symptoms

Updating EPSEC package on Standby system initiates a configsync operation from Standby to Active without notice.

Impact

Causes config-sync from standby to active. So can cause config loss of newly created config on active.

Conditions

This issue is seen only when administrator attempts to upload a new EPSEC package on the standby unit. Just uploading the package causes a config-sync to the active.

Workaround

Always apply the EPSEC changes from the active device.

Fix Information

The Upload, Install, and Delete buttons will only be enabled on the Active platform.
