Symptoms

The system's XML schema validator processes the "href" parameter in non-WSS XML messages, and it should not. As a result, if an XML schema has a defined attribute named "href", the XML schema validation fails.

Impact

Misbehaving XML parser.

Conditions

1. Enabled XML ASM protection. 2. Send request with href-id functionality.

Workaround

No workaround.
