While a policy-sync is in progress from a device to other member devices (5 members or more), the user loses the web interface connection to the BIG-IP system for a few minutes. To prevent this problem, restrict the sync-only device group to no more than 5 members.
Web interface connection to local BIG-IP lost for few minutes. This happens while the sync operation is in progress.
This can occur when a device group has more than 5 devices.
1. Create 2 device-groups with not more than 4 devices in each group. One device will overlap across both device-groups. 2. Sync the original policy on the first device-group. 3. Create a copy of the policy on the common device between the 2 device-groups. Then sync the copied policy in the other device-group.
Alleviate issues such as GUI unresponsiveness or even disconnect when policy sync is applied to a device group that contains 5 or more members.
