Symptoms

iControl error similar to the following: Executing script with args ... failed.

Impact

This is a cosmetic error and does not indicate a problem with the system. Error message is printed in /var/log/ltm: iControlPortal.cgi[16404]: 0137010c:6: EX! xcf::XConfigException:'Executing script with args [/Common] [apm.policy.machine-account] [/Common/LWLCDMZ-F5EDG] [list] , failed : can't eval proc: "script::run" "machine-account" unexpected argument while executing "tmsh::list [split $cmd "."] $instance" (procedure "script::run" line 12) invoked from within "script::run" line:1' Logged@XConfig.cpp:414::getInstances() Created@TmshTclWrapper.cpp:200::runScript())

Conditions

If using iControl or updating the admin UI, an error message might appear in /var/log/ltm.

Fix Information

An error that begins with iControlPortal.cgi[16404]: 0137010c:6:, is no longer printed to /var/log/ltm.
