Symptoms

Monitor status messages in the LTM log may display with very short and incorrect times. For example, you might see log messages similar to the following -- Jan 10 20:14:08 slot1/ske-vip-82114-03a notice mcpd[7066]: 01070638:5: Pool /Common/pool_app.mbga.jp_27.131.10.13_80 member /Common/10.33.16.115:80 monitor status down. [ was up for 0hr:0min:5sec ] -- Jan 10 20:15:05 slot1/ske-vip-82114-03a notice mcpd[7066]: 01070727:5: Pool /Common/pool_app.mbga.jp_27.131.10.13_80 member /Common/10.33.16.115:80 monitor status up. [ was down for 0hr:0min:4sec ]

Impact

The pool member's monitor status change timestamp is updated on peer device receiving the config, and incorrect monitor status change time is logged.

Conditions

This occurs in a sync group when you modify the pool configuration and sync.
