Opened: Apr 07, 2014

Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

When vCMP is not provisioned, and you load vCMP guest objects, the guest state changes to CONFIGURED to avoid failing to load the entire configuration.

Impact

After loading the UCS, the BIG-IP system successfully reboots into vCMP mode, but the guests cannot automatically deploy.

Conditions

This occurs when you save a UCS file from a vCMP-provisioned host with guests in the PROVISIONED or DEPLOYED state.

Workaround

You must manually change the state of desired guests to PROVISIONED or DEPLOYED.
