Symptoms

When an application service created using F5 provided template with the name including spaces, error message provided is not descriptive. It is because syntax validation of tmsh:cd command in the template occurs before application service name validation(This happens at checkpoint validation)

Impact

User will not see friendly error message when an application service is created with name having spaces using f5 provided template.

Conditions

Using spaces in the application service name.

Workaround

Workaround is not to use space in the application service name when using our templates.

Fix Information

Updated name validation to throw an error when invalid characters are included in the name.
