Symptoms

If you edit the configuration file /config/bigip.conf by manually adding an extra terminal-out in a macro. In a subsequent configuration load you might cause apd to crash. Please use the VPE to edit any macro.

Impact

The APM apd process crashes due to bad configuration added by editing the configuration file.

Editing the configuration file /config/bigip.conf manually.

Workaround

This issue has no workaround at this time.

Fix Information

In case the number terminal-out in a macros is added or subtracted manually, new validation code will catch this kind of discrepancy.
