Symptoms

On a VCMP guest, the internal interfaces are made visible in the WebUI under Network :: Interfaces. These interfaces are expected to be immutable (un-modifiable), but the system does not prevent an administrator from modifying the interfaces.

Impact

Inadvertent modifications to the internal interfaces may cause traffic disruption or failover.

Conditions

Using the web interface.

Workaround

Do not modify internal interfaces via WebUI.

Fix Information

Internal interfaces on vCMP guests can no longer be modified in the WebUI.
