Symptoms

Log filters (especially those further down the list) might fail to correctly select logs from the specified daemon/log-source.

Impact

Logs from the filter's selected source are not selected by the filter.

Conditions

This occurs because of a misalignment between the numeric log subset codes generated by the various log sources, and the source names presented by the GUI and by TMSH.

Workaround

Try different source names +/- 1, 2, 3, or 4 positions away from the one they are trying to match, or they might match based on specific log codes rather than the source component of the log code.

Fix Information

Log lists have been re-synchronized so that Log filters correctly select logs from the specified daemon/log-source.
