Reactivating the license on a BIG-IP Virtual Edition systems licensed for Good, Better, Best (licenses that limit the number of TMMs that can run by way of a perf_VE_cores entry in the license file) may result in TMM constantly restarting, and the system remaining inoperative/offline. Refer to https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/14000/800/sol14810.html for more information on these licenses.
Traffic disrupted while tmm restarts.
This occurs when a system is provisioned with more CPU cores than allowed by the license. As a result of reactivating the license, the system may try to start a number of TMMs corresponding to the number of CPU cores, regardless of the number determined during system provisioning.
After reactivating the license, restart mcpd or reboot the BIG-IP system.
Prevented TMM from restarting when reactivating the license.
