Symptoms

APD/APMD takes longer time to start up or processing access profile configuration changes.

Impact

APD/APMD takes longer time to start up; hence end users will wait a little bit longer before login requests can be processed. After APD/APMD starts up and no access profile/policy configuration changes, then there is no impact.

Conditions

This slowness will be more easily observable when there are many access profiles already configured.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The slowness is due to an unnecessary sleep of 1 second even when creating configuration snapshot is successful. The fix is to re-factor the retry logic such that sleep is performed when creating configuration snapshot has failed.
