Symptoms

Once syslog configure is changed for one HA device on the web interface, the local-ip setting will be lost on the peer device after a sync operation.

Impact

Local-ip setting is lost after sync

Conditions

Sync (manual/auto) syslog settings in HA devices

Workaround

- make sure that the device not having the local ip set has the latest config (in order not to have it overwritten after the next step, as the devices will auto sync after that) - Use below command in order to add the local IP you want to that device: For example: tmsh modify sys syslog remote-servers modify { remotesyslog2 { host 172.16.7.1 local-ip 172.16.7.254} }

Fix Information

Local-ip setting won't be lost after sync
