Symptoms of ASM auto-sync group causes device to run out of memory under stress. Swap entirely consumed, virtual blade rendered unavailable as a direct result. ASM vCMP guests with two slots. ASM guest slot1 became offline, has hundreds (e.g 931) asm_config_server_rpc_handler running on it, used up most of memory.
Disk space ran out on a device, and mysql went down.
This occurs on Viprion systems having an ASM auto-sync group.
