Symptoms

vCMP guests provisioned with the 'host-only' mode will appear to be configured with the 'bridged' mode when the configuration is viewed in the GUI.

Impact

Using the GUI to operate on host-only mode guests might produce unexpected results.

Conditions

This occurs when the vCMP guest is configured with 'host-only'.

Workaround

You can use tmsh or iControl to work with host-only vCMP guests.

Fix Information

vCMP management-network mode now has a 'host-only' option for tmsh/iControl.
