Symptoms

BIG-IP DNS Monitor attributes (ignore-down-response, transparent, and reverse) are not properly be inherited by their parent when child monitor is initially created.

Impact

The child monitor does not inherit the attributes ignore-down-response, transparent, and reverse set by the parent monitor.

Conditions

Creating child monitor when parent has configured ignore-down-response, transparent, and reverse settings.

Workaround

Set the associated setting on the child monitor.

Fix Information

BIG-IP DNS Monitor attributes (ignore-down-response, transparent, and reverse) are now properly inherited by their parent when the child monitor is initially created.
