Symptoms

When trying to delete an LTM pool, you get an error message similar to: The Pool (/Common/pool_test) cannot be deleted because it is in use by a monitor rule (2 /Common/tcp 3 0 /Common/pool_test)"

Impact

Inability to delete an LTM pool; a confusing error message.

Conditions

An LTM and GTM pool that share the same name are required. The GTM pool must have a monitor attached to it.

Workaround

Do not allow LTM and GTM pools to share names.

Fix Information

Prevented error message when deleting an LTM pool that has the same name as a GTM pool.
