On BIG-IP 10000-series appliances with LOP/LBH firmware version 6.04 or later installed, removal or insertion of a power supply (PSU) may not result in the correct status being updated/shown by the 'tmsh show sys hardware' or 'system_check -d' commands. [See also ID456542.]
Unable to reliably determine correct PSU status after removal/insertion.
BIG-IP 10000-series appliances running BIG-IP software versions prior to 11.5.0, with LOP/LBH firmware version 6.04 or later installed.
On BIG-IP v11.4.1, it may be possible to accurately refresh the PSU state by restarting the lopd and chmand daemons: bigstart restart lopd chmand On earlier versions of BIG-IP, a full system reboot or hard power-cycle may be required to accurately reflect the changed PSU state.
This updated LBH firmware v6.09 correctly reports PSU (power supply) status after PSU removal or insertion on BIG-IP 10000-series appliances running BIG-IP versions prior to 11.5.0.
