Symptoms

Some backend servers cannot be accessed using BIG-IP Edge Portal for iOS over mobile networks. Authentication fails; (a cookie related to authentication goes missing). It also happens when connected using WiFi but much less often (possibly due to timing).

Impact

The impact of this issue is that web-application logic can be broken.

Conditions

Web-application fails to update cookie when running Edge Portal on mobile networks. The issue is intermittent and hard to reproduce.

Workaround

This issue has no workaround at this time.
