Symptoms

SSL session tickets built by the BIP-IP system (for virtual servers assigned client-ssl profiles with 'session-ticket enabled') contain the entire client certificate in clear-text.

Impact

Specifically, the BIG-IP system does not include the client-cert in the encrypted part of ClientIdentity. Because the BIG-IP system interprets the Session Ticket sent to the client, this should not cause any problems.

Conditions

Client-side session ticket is being used.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The BIG-IP system now includes the client-cert in the encrypted part of ClientIdentity.
