Symptoms

Setting tm.tcplargereceiveoffload to disable does not prevent packets greater than MSS from coming in

Impact

Cannot be used to turn off LRO/GRO if needed for performance stability/improvement

Conditions

kvm and xen non-sriov case

Workaround

Use ethtool commands to turn off LRO/GRO from the guest or host.

Fix Information

tm.tcplargereceiveoffload DB variable can be used to turn off LRO/GRO except for xen and kvm non-sriov case.
