Symptoms

If the primary blade of a cluster fails over and a new primary is elected, then the new primary might not have the up-to-date sync accounting information. If this happens, the sync state may be something other than 'In Sync', usually 'Not All Devices Synced'.

Impact

Device sync status may change to 'Not All Devices Synced', and the system may unexpectedly advise the user to perform a CMI sync.

Conditions

Although the issue manifests After chassis failover, the specific conditions required are not well understood.

Workaround

To clear the condition, perform a full sync.
