In a partially populated chassis, if a blade is moved from one slot to another, the serial number is still shown in the previous slot from this command: guishell -c "select slot_id, serial_number from chassis_slot" The stale serial number is also visible in the user interface.
This issue is not harmful, but displays incorrect information.
In a partially populated chassis, a blade is moved from one slot to another.
The brute-force workaround is to reboot chassis.
Serial number of a blade is now cleared in show command after it is moved.
