Sometimes users cannot delete the local endpoint created by the GUI Acceleration Quick Start wizard.
The operation fails if the virtual server was already deleted. The system posts an error similar to the following: Can't delete endpoint because no isession-virtual to delete.
Using the GUI Quick Start wizard creates two objects (local endpoint and virtual server). At this point, the user may delete the virtual server (using the GUI or TMSH). When the GUI tries to delete the local endpoint, it also tries to delete the virtual server.
You can use TMSH in this case, because the TMSH operation deletes only the endpoint. If you use the GUI wizard, you should not delete the virtual server it creates. If the virtual server is already deleted, you can create a new virtual server named isession-virtual. You can then use the GUI to delete the endpoint.
Now, the GUI behavior is the same as TMSH: the GUI 'delete local endpoint operation' deletes only the endpoint.
