Symptoms

If the authentication server is not available such as failure to respond to ping, and when creating/modifying a user in TMSH and setting a password, the TMSH appears to hang for more than 60 seconds. Any of outstanding GUI sessions might also time out. Note: If you are adding/modifying a user and not setting a password there is no problem.

TMSH appears to hang for more than 60 seconds. Any of outstanding GUI sessions might also time out.
