Symptoms

TMM may crash and leave a core file behind in a vCMP guest. This can occur when the guest TMM is being shutdown.

Impact

There is no impact to traffic processing. A core file may be found in /shared/core on the vCMP guest after the TMM process restarts.

Conditions

This issue can occur in vCMP guest where the hypervisor version is different than the guest version on any hardware platform.

Workaround

This issue has no workaround at this time.

Fix Information

An issue has been corrected which could result in the TMM process crashing and leaving a core during process shutdown.
