Symptoms

If dynamic multicast routing is enabled and a system originates multicast traffic on a VLAN that is a child of a VLAN group, the traffic may not be bridged to the other child VLAN.

Impact

Global multicast traffic does not traverse VLAN groups.

Conditions

Dynamic multicast routing enabled, and VLAN group configured.
