Opened: Dec 29, 2014
Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

On vCMP environment, session db operations may fail with error type ERR_BOUNDS which may indicate that internal MPI channel between TMM processing unit were overloaded, hence, the session db messages were not delivered. The following is sample for error message: 00000000: Access encountered error: ERR_BOUNDS. File: ../modules/hudfilter/access/access_license.c, Function: access_license_session_callback, Line: 939

Impact

Since APM relies on session db operations in order properly synchronize between TMM processing unit, this failures can cause users to be denied access, or be forced to logged out.

Conditions

It is unclear on what condition which triggers this issue.
