Symptoms

Some browsers after BIG-IP upgrade (or maybe after install of new version to the same IP) continue using cached JavaScript files, though version of BIG-IP has changed. This can cause incorrect functionality of the Configuration utility.

Impact

Old cached JavaScript files can cause incorrect functionality of the Configuration utility.

Conditions

Upgrade or installing a new BIG-IP version.

Workaround

User should clear cache of his browser after upgrade to new version or after installing new version on the same machine. Force refresh should also work(Ctrl+F5 in most browsers).

Fix Information

After you upgrade or install a new BIG-IP software version, the browsers will load only fresh JavaScript files.
